Format
Top five teams in each division advance to conference tournament playing home and home series with the teams within each division. Cross-division games will count in conference standings, but qualification for the conference tournament will still be based upon standings within each division with an East Division and West Division champion determined through regular season play.
 
Cross-division games will be played back to back on Friday/Saturday road trips utilizing geographical travel partners. Cross-divisional games will be scheduled for three weekends out of four possible weekends prior to the start of intra-division play (Nov. 11-12, Nov. 18-19, Dec. 2-3, and Jan. 6-7).

Format 

Schools will play each team within its division and two home and  two away cross-division series each year. Beginning in 2013, two new cross-division opponents would be rotated into each team's schedule to replace two cross-divisional opponents with whom a two-year series had been completed. An East Division and West Division winner will be named but the top eight teams that qualify for the conference tournament will be based each team's overall record. The automatic qualifying bid going to the conference tournament champion and the conference tournament runner-up. The winner of the conference tournament is also named conference champion.

Softball - Apr 27-30
South Commons Park, Columbus, Georgia
Format

Each team plays each team within its division in a home and home doubleheader and then plays each team from the other division one game. All cross-division games will be played in an invitational tournament format at one central location (Columbus, GA is tentative site). Each team would play every team in the other division one time during this weekend. The scheduling will be done from Thursday and Saturday games by geography to minimize missed class time and to expedite travel. The automatic qualifying bids will go to the conference tournament champion and the conference tournament runner-up. The winner of the conference tournament is also named conference champion. An East and West Divisional winner will be recognized.
