The Southern States Athletic Conference is please to announce that  Dr. Kurt Patberg has accepted our offer to become the first full-time Commissioner of the SSAC.  Dr. Platberg brings to the position past experience as the Commissioner of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.  His experience, education and leadership will be invaluable as he directs the conference.
Dr. Patberg will assume his responsibilities on March 15, 2008 and his office will be located at the Brenau University North Atlanta Campus.
