
The AUM men, after posting a 17-5 record in 2007, has been selected by the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) men's soccer coaches' as the favorite for the 2008 SSAC men's soccer season.
The Senators, who placed second in the SSAC last season with a 8-1 record, totaled 98 points and eight first place votes in the poll. Berry, who won last seasons regular season and conference tournament, was picked second with 84 points and two first place vote. Lee University tied Berry for second with 84 points.
