MONTGOMERY, Ala.-Yuki Kariya's goal eight minutes into overtime, led Auburn University at Montgomery to a 1-0 win over Reinhardt College in the first round of the Southern States Athletic Conference tournament.

Reinhardt's defense did a good job on the AUM offense as they pulled all of their players back into defensive positions and only allowed AUM 16 shots.  Zack Schultze was in goal for Reinhardt and contributed to the cause with three saves.

But it was the frantic few seconds before Kariya's put back of a missed shot ended the match.  Agust Agustsson was able to get the ball to the middle of the field and drew Schultze out from the goal.  Agustsson was able to get a shot off and Schultze blocked the shot but the rebound went directly to Kariya who was storming in from the right side and knocked the rebound into the back of the net.

AUM (12-5) now moves into the semifinal round and will host Lee University at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12.  Reinhardt ends their season with a 7-10-1 record.
