Atlanta, Ga. - Cassie Moore, a sophomore transfer from Auburn University, has been picked as the Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the Southern States Athletic Conference for games played Jan. 26 through Feb. 1.

Cassie Moore averaged 18 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in leading AUM to consecutive conference wins over the past week. She had solid all-around games as she had 14 blocked shots and six assists with three steals in the two outings. Cassie was a perfect 9-for-9 at the free throw line and shot over 50 percent from the field. She also hit her first three-point attempt of the season.

Moore will now advance to the National Player of the Week voting, which will be announced tomorrow evening by the NAIA.

The next Player of the Week selection will be on Monday, Feb. 9.
