Lee University finished last year 3rd in the conference but got some strong pitching help and a 2008 Olympian to help the coaches pick them as this years pick for conference champs.  Lee received 75 total points and 4 first place votes in this years poll.  Coming in a close second was last years champions Shorter College who received 72 points and 3 first place votes.  Shorter returns their great pitching staff but lost some of their top players from last years team.  Brenau University came in third in this years poll with 65 points and 2 first place votes as the coaches saw that they will be returning seven starting seniors from last years 30-23 team.

Points were assigned on a 9-1 basis and coaches' could vote for their own team.
