The Southern States Athletic Conference is pleased to announce its partnership with Musco Lighting. Musco Lighting becomes one of the founding and primary sponsors of the SSAC.

The agreement between the Southern States Athletic Conference and Musco Lighting began early in 2009 and is a four-year period partnership. Musco Lighting in this partnership relationship is the proud supporter of many of the top character awards in the conference including the SSAC Sportsmanship Award, Honor Student-Athlete Award, and the Champions of Character Awards.
Musco becomes an exclusive partner of the SSAC in the area of sports lighting. The Musco name will be very recognizable within the SSAC; whether it is the logo on banners or the name being read over the public address system at a sporting event.

With the advancement of technology in equipment and the ever increasing speed of play of today's athletes, a stronger emphasis on safer lighted playing fields is important. We are committed to helping association members evaluate and promote the safety of their lighting systems and to insuring that when the lights go on, players and spectators are safe," said Musco Regional Sales Manager Mike Limpach.
This partnership will allow Musco to build relationships with the SSAC administrators and staff during social gatherings, championship events, and during lighting analysis visits to our member institutions' campuses. "The personnel from Musco that I have met and worked with to date are the types of people that we want to partner with at the SSAC," commented SSAC Commissioner Kurt Patberg. "We are very excited that they have agreed to become one of the first sponsors of the SSAC and look forward to our future endeavors together. Equally important to us is that we have an industry leader to lean on for expertise and guidance in the sports lighting area."
