Junior Ashley Hagans (Snellville) has been named to the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball All American Team as an Honorable Mention selection. She becomes the first All American in the three year history of basketball at Brenau.Hagans posted some incredible stats in her first year with the Golden Tigers after transferring from Georgia Perimeter CC. She finished as the leading scorer in the NAIA and SSAC with a 21.17 average. She also led the conference and was #5 in the NAIA in steals at 3.6 per game. Hagans was the SSAC free throw champion and #7 nationally with a .886 average. Brenau finished with their best conference record at 10-10 and overall mark (17-13) while breaking virtually every school record. Hagans will be one of seven seniors returning next season in what could be a breakthrough campaign.
