MOUNT VERNON, Ga. - Brewton-Parker won the tournament with wins over Paine College and Savannah State University.

Brewton Parker was lead by Tournament MVP Jessica Hill of Jonesboro. Jessica tallied 19 kills in the first match while Jeune Hypolite rallied for 16 kills. Bobbie Boyer paces the Lady Barons with 40 assists.

BPC won over Paine by the score of 3 games to 1. In the final against Savannah State, Jessica Hill provided 8 kills with Jeune Hypolite adding 7. Annamarys Rivera and Bridget Stephens provided much needed defense in the back row with 17 digs each.

"Everyone seemed to be on the same page," said Coach Jason Bryant. "We wanted the same thing and that was to win. Everyone played an exceptional part in this tournament championship. We are very, very young and to go to a NCAA Division II tournament and play against a Division I school and come out with the tournament championship with this young of a team should prove to be solid building grounds for the future."
