In Friday's final match, the Shorter College Lady Hawks (27-8) swept the Faulkner Lady Eagles (5-25) to earn the final spot in Saturday's championship match. The Lady Hawks took control early in the first set, rolling to a 25-11 win. Faulkner fought hard in the second set, and nearly stole the momentum, before falling 27-25, and that was as close as they would get. The third set was all Shorter, as the Lady Eagles capped off the sweep by winning the third set 25-13. The Lady Hawks will take on the Lee University Lady Flames (31-5) in the championship match on Saturday at 1 p.m.
