CLEVELAND, Tenn.-The tournament championship for the Southern States Athletic Conference women's soccer tournament between Lee University and Auburn University at Montgomery could not be decided during 110 minutes of action, so the two teams had to decide the championship on penalty kicks, which Lee won 3-1.

The two teams played as even as you could play, with Lee attempting 21 shots and AUM 19.  AUM had nine shots on goal, Lee had eight.  AUM had eight saves in goal and Lee had nine, as the two teams battled to a double-overtime draw.

The difference of the match came down to Lee goalkeeper Leah Wilson, who had three blocks on AUM penalty kicks to help deliver the win and the automatic national tournament berth to the Lady Flames.

Lee is now 16-2-1 and AUM is 14-4-2.  The Lady Senators should find out on Monday if they have received an at-large berth into the national tournament.
