SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Lee was victorious in Pool F Wednesday in the second day of pool play action at the NAIA Volleyball National Championship Presented by Siouxland Sports Medicine Foundation in the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena.

Unseeded Lee moved to 2-0 in pool play and has taken down sixth-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) and seventh-seeded Columbia (Mo.). Both wins were in straight sets. Georgetown and Columbia sport a 1-1 pool play mark. Lubbock Christian is 0-2.

The Lady Flames limited Georgetown to a .072 hitting percentage and had two players register double-figure kill marks en route to a 25-22, 25-21, 25-20 victory. Milica Krsmanovic had 12 kills, hitting .524 and Stephanie Todd finished with 10 kills, hitting .308. Lee had 17 assists from both Gretchen Higdon and Kelsey Leffew. Georgetown's kill-leaders were Alexandra Bertke and Erica Janszen with eight each, as the Tigers had 24 hitting errors in the loss.

Lubbock Christian came out with an upset in mind, winning the first set 30-28, but Columbia rattled off three-straight wins, 25-23, 25-17, 25-22, to take the match. The Cougars had four players finish with double-figure kills with Monica Dos Santos leading the charge with 18. Maria Omondi had 15 kills, hitting .462. Chipping in 10 kills were Cate Eckhardt and Nicole Murphy. Paula Ferreira was busy directing Columbia's offense, handing out 55 assists. Bailey Jones and Kelsey Odell finished with 12 and 11 kills, respectively, for Lubbock Christian.

Pool F will wrap up Thursday with Lubbock Christian taking on Lee at 1 p.m., and Georgetown meeting Columbia at 3:15 p.m.
