Norcross, Ga. - ONEPATH Systems and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Conventions and Visitors Bureau (CVB) join Musco Lighting as the first three Primary and Founding corporate partners of the Southern States Athletic Conference.

ONEPATH Systems, located in Marietta, Georgia is in the business of providing technology support and systems to corporations, government, healthcare and higher education. ONEPATH Systems produced the sound technology system for the new Cage Center at Berry College. ONEPATH who recently expanded its higher education division views this partnership as a way to develop relationships with the 16 member institutions of the Southern States. Chad Merrill, Vice-President states. "We are excited to be affiliated with the SSAC. ONEPATH has always been active in youth sports and community involvement and this affiliation will allow us continue this tradition as well as offer our services to the SSAC colleges and universities. We look forward to a mutually beneficial association with the Southern States."

The Mississippi Gulf Coast CVB partnership is an unprecedented relationship with a small college athletic conference. The agreement will bring three conference championship events to Gulfport/Biloxi each year as well as have the SSAC market to its various constituents the use the great Mississippi gulf coast area featuring its hotels, restaurants, beaches, golf courses, shopping, etc. According to Richard Forester, Executive Director of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention & Visitors Bureau, "We consider this a unique and mutually beneficial arrangement that hopefully will lead to more and more SSAC events on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Our destination is ideally suited to host sporting events of all sizes and stripes and with all there is to do and see in our community, participants and spectators will find what a truly valued destination we are. "

These partnerships will allow the SSAC to aggressively market the conference and its sixteen member schools which includes some television and webcasting projects. The SSAC has a tentative agreement to air a 30-minute promotional and informational show on SportsSouth a Fox affiliate based out of Atlanta that reaches 9.3 million households covering nine states.
