MOBILE-The Auburn Montgomery women's tennis team moved into the quarterfinals of the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship with a 5-0 win over Xavier University (La.).

AUM won all three doubles matches, winning two of those at love scores. Ana Veselinovic and Morgane Zowczak won 8-4 at one doubles, which was the closest doubles match.

AUM needed only two singles wins to close out the match and Hannah Appleyard defeated Ashley McGill 6-0, 6-0 at six singles, and the lone senior on the team, Nathalie Sienkob, closed out the match with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Carmen Nelson at three singles.

AUM (19-3) will face eighth-ranked Oklahoma Christian in tomorrow's quarterfinal meeting at 9 a.m. OCU defeated ninth-ranked Embry-Riddle 5-4 to move into tomorrow's quarterfinals.

These two teams have met already this season with AUM defeating OCU 5-0 on March 13 at the AUM Spring Invitational. OCU enters the quarterfinals with a 17-4 record.
