
MOBILE-After another successful tennis season which saw Auburn Montgomery bring home another national title and another runner-up trophy, the NAIA has named 12 AUM tennis players to various All-America teams.
There were a total of seven members of the men's team honored. Sadio Doumbia, Borderes, France, Alberto Romea Gonzalez, Zaragoza, Spain, Michael Johnson, Bradenton, Fla., and Ayrton Wibowo, Jakarta, Indonesia, were named to the first team.
Saad Benkirane, Casablanca, Morocco, and Loic Didavi, Cotonou, Benin, were named to the second team. Bence Toth, Budapest, Hungary, was named an Honorable Mention All-American.
Five members of the women's team received the honor. Ana Veselinovic, Herceg-Novi, Montenegro, and Parija Maloo, Khamgaon, India, received first-team honors.
Whitney Byrd, Atlanta, Ga., Nathalie Sienkob, Columbus, Ga., and Morgane Zowczak, Yutz, France, were named to the second-team.
