The Lady Flames will take the weekend off and then return to action next Tuesday, facing another Southern States Athletic Conference opponent in Southern Wesleyan University.
Coach Andrea Hudson used her entire team freely in winning the three straight games. The consistent scoring is the best testimony to that fact. Sophomore Bruna Langner paced the balanced Lee kill attack with 10. Rachel Clinton followed with seven. Ligia Zobolli and Bojana Vulin tallied six each and Daisy Varbanova added five.
Lisa Kidwell chipped in with 20 assists, two aces and two digs. Freshman Katie Thornton contributed 13 assists, one ace and two digs. In the ace department, Daisy Varbanova had five as did Catherine Baier.
Missy Elser was the top "digger" for the Lady Flames. The senior was credited with 15. Baier came up with six, while Courtney Williams and Clinton had five digs each.
Clinton and Langner registered two blocks apiece. Daisy Varbanova, Langner and Rosie Varbanova picked up two blocking assists each.
For the Lady Eagles, Brittany Harden recorded seven blocks. Heather Smith dished off 15 assists, while Jesse Newton picked up 14 digs and Carrie Butler 10.
