Dahlonega, Ga. - 14 home dates highlight the 2004-05 North Georgia College & State University 29-game regular season women's basketball schedule announced today by 11th year head coach Buffie Burson . The Lady Saints are looking to win their fourth straight conference title and their sixth trip to the NAIA National Tournament.

North Georgia season begins on the road November 5 as they head to Mt. Vernon, Ga. to participate in the Brewton-Parker College Classic to take on Brevard College and Edward Waters College on November 6. The Lady Saints first test of the season will be on November 9 as they take on Union University in Jackson, Tenn. The first home game of the season is slated for November 11 against Clafflin University with a tip-off time of 6:00 pm.

North Georgia will make a long distance road trip to San Francisco, Ca. to participate in the Dominican University Classic tournament on November 19. Holy Names College and Dominican University will square off against the Lady Saints at 5:00 and 7:00 pm in the tournament. On November 26 and 27 North Georgia will host the Caruso's Classic tournament with Savannah College of Arts & Design and Freed Hardeman University making the trip to Memorial Hall to take on the Lady Saints.

Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) action begins on November 29 as North Georgia heads up to Cleveland, Tenn. to take on SSAC newcomer Lee University at 6:00 pm. The Lady Saints will play three more SSAC games before Christmas, Reinhardt College (12/2) on the road and then two home games against Southern Polytechnic State University (12/4) and Emmanuel College (12/13). North Georgia will finish up the month of December with a road trip to Orlando, Fla. to participate in the Webber International Classic on December 16 through 18.

In 2005, the Lady Saints will start off against arch rival Union University on January 4 followed by the beginning of SSAC play for the remainder of the season. North Georgia will defend its conference title against Auburn University Montgomery on the road January 8 and at home on February 10 as well as key games against Brewton-Parker College at home (1/15) and the final game of the season on the road (2/24).

The Lady Saints are coming off last season's 30-6 overall record and a first place finish in the conference.
