The unbeaten Lee University Lady Flames captured their fourth straight tournament of the season on Saturday afternoon by defeating Walsh  University ( Ohio) in the final round of the Olivet Nazarene Invitational.

After losing the first game 30-32 the Lady Flames rebounded in style by smashing Walsh in the final three games 30-27, 30-25, 30-20.

With at least two teams ranked higher than Lee in last week's NAIA poll, the Lady Flames should have an excellent shot in moving into the top three teams in the nation.

In the victory over 18th ranked Walsh, the Lady Flames were again led by the outstanding play of senior Bojana Vulin. Playing a complete game, Vulin had 18 kills, 20 digs and three blocks. As usual, Bruna Langner stepped up in a big game with 14 kills and eight blocks. Daisy Varbanova completed the frontline domination with 10 kills and six blocks.

In the backcourt, Lisa Kidwell earned a spot on the all-tournament team with 31 assists and two aces. Missy Elser added 20 digs while Courtney Williams contributed 13 digs to the winning attack.

Naiara Fernandes joined Kidwell on the all-tournament team.

Earlier on Saturday, the Lady Flames claimed their 22nd straight win of the season and their third straight victory in the Olivet Nazarene Invitational with a convincing 30-20, 30-17 and 31-29 decision over 19th-ranked Taylor  University.

Fernandes was best at the net with 14 kills and a pair of blocks. Vulin followed with 11 kills and 16 digs. Daisy Varbanova stepped up with six kills, four aces and four blocks. Langner joined in with six kills and seven key blocks. Kidwell set up her teammates with 37 assists and Elser had 16 digs and two aces.

The Lady Flames will return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Berry College for a 7 contest.
