Lee University Athletic Director Larry Carpenter is now seeking applications for the position of men's head basketball coach, following the resignation of coach Rick Hughes this past week.

Carpenter said applications would be accepted through the month of March. He noted that the applicants would be reviewed and interviews will then be conducted. No deadlines has been set for naming Hughes' replacement, but Carpenter added that the search will be conducted as quickly and as thoroughly as possible.

Lee University seeks applicants for the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach. The successful candidate’s responsibilities include but are not limited to all aspects of the basketball program including recruitment/retention of student athletes, scheduling, budget management, team travel, academic integrity and public relations. Previous intercollegiate head coaching experience and master’s degree preferred. Deadline for applications is March 31^st.
