Bill Popp, second year head baseball coach at Reinhardt College reached his 200th win on Monday, March 27. The Eagles claimed a 12-6 victory over Oglethorpe University.
Bill Popp, second year head baseball coach at Reinhardt College reached his 200th win on Monday, March 27. The Eagles claimed a 12-6 victory over Oglethorpe University. Prior to Reinhardt, Popp was the head coach at Oglethorpe for 11 years. He earned his first 167 victories at Oglethorpe before picking up his last 33 wins at Reinhardt.
The Eagles hold a current overall record of 17-21. Next on their schedule is a home game against Lee University on Friday, March 31 at 2 p.m. and Saturday, April 1 at 12 p.m. Reinhardt is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC).
