Women's Cross Country

Reinhardt's men's and women's cross country teams competed at the NAIA Region XIII Championships in Clinton MS on Saturday November 5th. Senior runner, Jordan Turner led the Eagle's with a 5th place finish and beating a school record on 26:47.
Turner has qualified to compete at the National Championships for
his fourth straight year. Sophmore, Leah Derringer dominated the
women's race becoming the first Lady Eagle to win the Region
XIIIChampionships. Joining Turner and Derringer is senior, Katherine
Barnes finishing fifth place in the women's race has also qualified to
run in the prestigious national event fora second consecutive season.
Overall, both teams have competed well as the women finished
third in both the Region and Conference and the men placed fourth in
the Region and third in the Conference.
Next stop for Jordan, Leah and Katherine is the National Championships on Novemebr 18th in Louisville, KY.
