LEWISTON, Idaho - A season of firsts ended for the Lee University baseball team on Monday afternoon. They were eliminated in the third round of the NAIA World Series by No. 1 seed Azusa Pacific University (Calif.), 7-4.

Under the leadership of first-year coach Mark Brew, the Flames finished the 2007 season at 51-15. They were Region XIII champs and made history by winning the NAIA Atlantic South Super Region for the first time and went on to claim their first win in World Series competition when they beat St. Thomas University, 5-4 in 12 innings.
