Nenad Cudic (AUM) and Tyson John (SWU) shared the men's Player of the Week Awards for the Southern States Athletic Conference this week.   This year the NAIA will be awarding both offensive and defensive players of the week.Southern Wesleyan striker John scored the game-winning goal as the un-ranked Warriors defeated No. 14 Milligan during the mid-week. The senior striker from Bakersfield, Calif. also accounted for three goals and an assist earlier in the week as Southern Wesleyan upended Trinity Christian by a 4-1 count. John finished the week with 9 points from three games as SWU started the season unbeaten following a 2-1 win over Faulkner.
 
Cudic likewise helped his AUM team off to an unbeaten start. The sophomore goalkeeper from Belgrade, Serbia managed to keep a clean sheet in his first appearance of 2007. Cudic registered three saves in the team's opener against Spring Hill, two of which were breakaway situations. The 2006 All-American also had to overcome some tough field conditions as storms in Mobile, Ala. delayed the game for over 45 minutes.
