KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2007 Volleyball All-America Teams and the Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athletes. These teams were selected by the NAIA Volleyball All-America Selection Committee.

Berry College junior middle blocker Meghan Francis and Lee University outside hitter Tina Questel represented the Southern States Athletic Conference as honorable mention All-Americans.
Thirty-six players were named to the first, second and third All-American teams while 35 others earned honorable mention.

A total of 272 volleyball players were named NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athletes. Berry placed three on the squad in junior’s Shawn Carroll, Taylor Minor and Meghan Francis. Lee senior Katie Thornton also earned a spot on the team as did Columbia College junior Lauren Bach.
A total of 118 schools are represented this season led by Evangel University (Mo.) and Hastings College (Neb.) with nine selections each.

Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify.
