This schedule is subject to adjustment based upon the following conference-approved provision: the 6:00 pm game time during the first round will be reserved for the host school provided it (1) qualifies for the tournament and (2) its determined seeding does not afford it either the 6:00 pm or 8:00 pm game initially. In compliance with this provision, whichever game the host team is seeded into (game 1 or game 2) will be swapped with game 3, which is the 6:00 pm game. This provision is being used in both the men’s and women’s conference basketball tournaments for the sake of consistency.

A complete schedule with teams and tournament seeds will be posted upon completion of the regular season.

Hotel Accommodations

The official hotel of the 2006 SSAC Women’s Basketball Tournament is the Jameson Inn. 

A Berry College rate of $64.00 will be offered to parents/fans upon notification that they are associated with the SSAC or participating school.  Reservations can be made by calling 706-291-7797.

Web Cast

A web cast of each tournament game will be provided.  The web cast link will be incorporated on the SSAC homepage for those who wish to follow the action from their computer.

Game Pictures

 Compact discs containing action shots will be made for each game.  The cost of each CD is $15. Order forms for the games will be available in the lobby of the gym during the tournament.

Awards Ceremony

There will be a brief awards ceremony following the championship game on Saturday.  Both participating teams will  remain on the floor for the presentation of their respective awards.  The Tournament MVP and All-Tournament team members will also be awarded at this time.
