ATLANTA, Ga. - Last season the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) regular season and tournament championships came down to the wire and based on the votes of the SSAC coaches, this year could be similar. Southern Poly State University (SPSU) was voted by the coaches to win the SSAC Baseball Championship over Lee University by one vote.
MONTGOMERY-It is easy to say that most people are still in bed at 5:45 a.m., but Auburn University at Montgomery head baseball coach Q.V. Lowe and several of his players were not only up this morning, but ready to go to work at the LPGA Navistar Classic.
DURHAM, N.C.-Chase Burch, former AUM baseball standout, has been named the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball 2009 Rookie of the Year.
